Surprise!

Obamacare is proving to be a drag on small business growth. Close to two thirds predict compliance costs of the ACA will "increase costs a lot" this year.

Big companies can absorb the distributed costs more easily. Small companies have more trouble. What a surprise that Obama favors big businesses.

Conservatives need to become the party of small-to-medium sized businesses, their natural allies and their real constituency. Just to be clear: big businesses do more rent-seeking, but I have no objection to size per se. I am therefore now neutral to big business.

Problem: big companies are where the money is. Also, where other sorts of power are (viz. Google's plans to rate web pages by their truthiness).
